गुरदासपुर के रहने वाले एक शख्स पर ऑस्ट्रेलिया पुलिस ने 10 लाख डॉलर का ईनाम रखा है। सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार इस शख्स ने 4 साल पहले एक युवती का कत्ल किया था।
इसी सिलसिले में पुलिस पिछले लगभग 4 सालों से उसे ढूंढ रही है लेकिन कोई सुराग न मिलने के कारण उस पर पुलिस ने ईनाम रखा है। पुलिस के अनुसार उसकी जानकारी देने वाले को 10 लाख डॉलर दिए जाएंगे।
जानकारी के अनुसार ऑस्ट्रेलिया पुलिस ने क्वींसलैंड में 2018 में एक समुद्र तट पर 24 साल की ऑस्ट्रेलियाई युवती की कथित हत्या कर भारत भाग जाने वाले भारतीय चिकित्सा सहायक को पकड़ने में मदद के लिए सूचना देने वाले को 10 लाख डॉलर ईनाम देने की घोषणा की है। क्वींसलैंड पुलिस ने एक प्रैस विज्ञप्ति में कहा कि टोया कॉर्डिंगली 21 अक्तूबर 2018 को केयन्र्स से 40 किलोमीटर दूर वांगेटी बीच पर अपने कुत्ते को घुमा रही थीं तभी उनकी हत्या कर दी गई। बयान के अनुसार इनिसफेल में कार्यरत मेल नर्स राजविंद्र सिंह (38) मामले में प्रमुख संदिग्ध है।
जानकारी के अनुसार वह कॉर्डिंगली की हत्या के दो दिन बाद आस्ट्रेलिया से चला गया और अपनी पत्नी तथा 3 बच्चों को यहीं छोड़ गया। क्वीन्सलैंड पुलिस अब उसकी तलाश में जुट गई है। पुलिस ने उसका पता बताने वाले को 10 लाख ऑस्ट्रेलियाई डॉलर देने की पेशकश की है।
