ਵਿਆਹ ਵਿਚ ਅੜਿੱਕਾ ਬਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਰਹਿਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਘਾਟ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ-ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਬਾਰਡਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਥਾਣਾ ਡੇਹਲੋਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਰਕਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਈ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੁਕੰਦਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਲਯੁੱਗੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੋਬਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਦੇਹੀ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਸ਼ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕਰ ਲਈ।
ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਥਾਣਾ ਡੇਹਲੋਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਪਰਮਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜੋਬਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਸਰ ਝਗੜਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਜੋਬਨਜੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਰਟੀ ‘ਤੇ ਅੱਖ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ। ਜੋਬਨਜੀਤ ਪਿੰਡ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
