ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ‘ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ‘ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ‘ਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੀਜਾ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਹਲਵਾਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਜੰਗੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੱਖ ਖੇਤੀ ਟਿਊਬਵੈਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ 200 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਖਰਚੇ ਦੀ ਬਚਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ‘ਚ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ 2023 ‘ਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ।
