ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ‘ਚ 4 ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਲੁਟੇਰਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਕ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਕੈਸ਼ੀਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਫਾਈਨਾਂਸ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦਾ ਕੈਸ਼ੀਅਰ ਇਲਾਕੇ ‘ਚੋਂ ਨਕਦੀ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਚਾਰ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਥਾਣਾ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ (ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ) ਨੇੜੇ ਓਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9.30 ਵਜੇ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਿਲਬਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਸ਼ਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਨਕਦੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼ਰਨਜੀਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ’ਤੇ ਛੁਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
