ਜਲੰਧਰ ਚ 10 ਮਈ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪੈਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਪੁਾਇੰਟਮੈਂਟਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ-1, ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ-2 ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀਆਂ 20 ਮਈ ਲਈ ਮੁੜ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੀਆ ਹਨ
ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਅਨੂਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਲਈ ਆਰਪੀਓ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ (ਪੀਐੱਸਕੇ-1 ਜਲੰਧਰ, ਪੀਐੱਸਕੇ-2 ਜਲੰਧਰ) ਵਿਚ 10 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਅਪੁਾਇੰਟਮੈਂਟ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਿਆ।
ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਫਸਰ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਲਈ 20 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪੀਐਸਕੇ-1 ਜਲੰਧਰ, ਪੀਐਸਕੇ-2 ਜਲੰਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਪੁਆਇੰਟਮੈਂਟ ਮੁੜ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੀਆ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਪੁਾਇੰਟਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਮੁੜ-ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ/ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਲਈ 20 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਣ।

Regional Passport Officer Anup Singh said that several appointments were fixed on May 10 at the Passport Seva Kendras (PSK-1 Jalandhar, PSK-2 Jalandhar) under the jurisdiction of the RPO for processing passport applications, which were canceled due to the election holiday. Could not be processed.
On the request of Passport Officer, Jalandhar, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi has rescheduled passport appointments on May 20 at the same locations i.e. PSK-1 Jalandhar, PSK-2 Jalandhar for the convenience of affected passport applicants. He said passport applicants are advised to check their appointment date which has now been rescheduled and visit the concerned Passport Seva Kendra on May 20 for processing their passport applications/passport related services.
