ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਮਦਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ 80 ਲੋਕ ਕਰੋੜਪਤੀ ਹਨ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਮੱਛਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੱਛਰ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 400 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ਹਿਵਾਰੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ। ਹਿਵਰੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਦੇ ਸੋਕੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਝੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਮ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਿੰਡ ਹਿਵਾਰੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ 305 ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 80 ਲੋਕ ਕਰੋੜਪਤੀ ਹਨ। 1990 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿਵਾਰੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ 90 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਗਰੀਬ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹਿਵਾਰੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਹੈ।
