कैंटोनमेंट बोर्ड जालंधर के अंतर्गत आते वार्ड नं. 1 के पूर्व पार्षद एवं कैंटोनमेंट फाइनांस कमेटी के पूर्व चेयरमैन संजीव त्रेहन ने LMA द्वारा बंद किये जाने वाले कैंट के रास्तों के प्रस्ताव का विरोध करते हुए कैंट वासियों को सुझाव देते हुए कहा है कि वर्किंग डे वाले केवल 7 दिन शांति पूर्वक Protest करने से मसला हल हो सकता है।
संजीव त्रेहन ने कहा कि कैंटोनमेंट बोर्ड जालंधर के अंतर्गत आते 7 वार्डों के वासी अपने परिवार सहित वर्किंग डे वाले केवल 7 दिन अलग अलग रास्तों को ब्लाक करके शांति पूवर्क बैठ कर Protest करें। बच्चों की Leave Aplicacion में ऐसी एक ही मुद्दे का जिक्र होना चाहिए। सभी बच्चे स्कूल की Full Dress में होने चाहिए और उनका टिफन व पानी की बोतल साथ होनी चाहिए। ये protest सुबह 8.30 बजे के बाद शुरू हो जाना चाहिए।
वार्ड नं 1 एवं 2 के वासी अलग अलग वर्किंग डे वाले दिन कैंट बोर्ड हस्पताल से लेकर CEO हाउस की back side तक जाने वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
वार्ड नं. 3 के वासी N D Victor स्कूल चौक से लेकर मिलिट्री हस्पताल (MH) तक जाने वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
वार्ड नं. 4 के वासी रामा मंडी चौक पर Cantt Entry वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
वार्ड नं. 5 के वासी सब्जी मंडी से लेकर डिफेंस सिनेमा तक जाने वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
वार्ड नं. 6 के वासी मिलिट्री हस्पताल (M H) चौक से MES G East दफ्तर तक जाने वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
वार्ड न. 7 के कैंट के वासी गोल्फ ग्राउंड से लेकर golden line canteen, sub area Office, indra park तक जाने वाली सड़क पर बैठकर Protest करें।
संजीव त्रेहन ने कहा कि इस शांति पूर्वक Protest में अन्य School bus, Ambulance, police Vehicle को आने जाने के लिए रास्ता दिया जाए, केवल Army Vehicle को ही रोका जाए।
संजीव त्रेहन ने कहा कि LMA द्वारा दिए गये इस प्रस्ताव के विरोध में अपने एतराज जरूर दाखिल करें लेकिन ये एतराज जाएंगे कहां और आएंगे कहां। उन्होंने कहा कि दाखिल किए गये एतराज रक्षा मंत्रालय में जाएंगे जो वापिस उसी के पास आएंगे, जिसने कि ये रास्ते बंद करने का प्रस्ताव रखा है। क्या वह अपने दिए प्रस्ताव के विरोध में दिए गये एतराजों को मानेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले समय में मालरोड के बंद किये गए रास्ते आज तक नहीं खोले गये जोकि आम जनता के साथ सरासर धक्का है।
संजीव त्रेहन ने कहा कि अगर कैंट वासी मेरे इस सुझाव को मानते हुए अपने परिवार सहित अलग अलग वर्किंग डे वाले केवल 7 दिन ये Protest करते हैं तो यकीन मानिए इससे प्रशासन में खलबली मच जाएगी और ये मसला हल हो जाएगा।
