Induction Training Programme of MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA and B.Com continued on the Third Day at DAV Institute of Engg & Technology, Jalandhar on September 7, 2022. This programme aims to equip the students with the basic and necessary skills to face the challenges in their professional as well as personal life. The new entrants are providing information regarding academics, NCC, Institute’s clubs, rules & regulations, sports, cultural activities, Entrepreneurship etc during this induction training programme. A series of expert lectures in different areas is also going on. Interactive sessions are also there for the benefit of the students.
Mr. Ahsanul Haq, President of Jalandhar Management Association, Regional Partner of International Life Skills Olympiad, an IAS mentor and member of APO, Alumni Association of India and Japan, gave important tips on life to the new entrants. He focused on the need to ‘Re-skill and Reinvent’. He enlightened the students to adopt the approach of ‘give and take’. Further, in his presentation, he presented various aspects of ‘long term goals of life’ and ‘survival of the quickest’. He threw light on futuristic trends also.
Mr. Sandeep K. Gupta, Director, Sakaar Microsolutions Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Medhansh Gupta, youngest developer & an entrepreneur, delivered the session on ‘Block chain Technology’. Students had good interaction with them.
Mr. Sandeep K. Gupta is an experienced Founder and Director with demonstrated history of working in the research industry. He is a Record Holder of Limca Book, India Book, Asia Book and Golden Book. He is skilled in PHP. C++, jQuery, Python, React and Java script.
Mr. Medhansh Gupta has been awarded by Education Minister and interacted with Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime minister of India.
Ms. Pallavi Khanna, Counselling Psychologist, in a very interactive way, touched upon various aspects and problems facing the students today. She raised the questions and encouraged the students to deliberate upon the solutions in a simple and practical way. She stated that we should commit to take a positive view of life. She alleged the students to check for irrational thoughts and to be mindful of triggers and patterns. She threw light on ways to deal with stress effectively and inspired the students to keep calm even in case of challenging situation.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal, DAVIET, applauded the new entrants on attending this 5-days induction training programme enthusiastically. He motivated them to follow the footsteps of their seniors. Further, he advised the students to give their best for the Institute as well as for themselves.
