Fresher Party Aagaaz-2022 organized at HMV
A Fresher Party ‘Aagaaz- 2022’ was organized for all the UG, PG and Diploma 1st year students of Commerce, Science and Computer Science at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar. The event commenced with the lighting of the holy lamp, followed by the DAV Gaan.The In-charges of the event Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Shaveta Chauhan and Mrs Savita Mahendru welcomed Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen with a planter. Principal Sareen honoured the judges of modelling event – Dr. Neelam Sharma, Mrs. Meenu Kohli and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra with green planters. In her address, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed and blessed the students. Further, she said that the students should attain success through determined mind and by following the honest and true path in life. Moreover, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen advised students to inculcate cultural and moral values in their life and also wished them for their fabulous future. Students organized various cultural events and made the environment enthusiastic and full of zest. The students participated in modelling, song singing, traditional dance and Punjabi Bhangra. They also stole the show by playing various games.In the modelling contest of UG and PG Classes, Km. Diksha and Km. Altsha were declared Ms. Fresher HMV-2022; while Km. Kanupriya and Km. Anjali were given the title of first runner up; Km. Megha and Km. Aakriti were given the title of second runner up. On the other hand, Km. Mehak and Km. Anamika were declared Ms. Gravity. The title of Ms. Professional went to Km. Rashmi and Km. Manpreet. Further, the title of Ms. Techie was given to Km. Sharmil and Km. Ritika. The winners of the event were honoured with gifts, planters and Crown. The stage was conducted by Mrs. Shefali Kashyap, Dr. Sakshi Verma and Ms. Harpreet Kaur. Dr. Sangeeta Arora gave a vote of thanks to all at the end of the event.
