In APJ College first South Asia Bureau Chief and Senior Journalist shared the tips and strategies of writing classic works.

In Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar Mr. Ashish Ray, the first South Asia Bureau Chief and Senior Journalist conversed with the budding artists of the college and shared the tips and strategies of writing classic works. Addressing the students, he said a good journalist is discrimination free, clear about his thoughts and perceptive, fully aware about his subject, has a strong hold on the language and should refrains himself from practicing yellow journalism.

Sharing his experience with the students, Mr. Ashish Ray said that proper research should be done while writing biographies especially of well-known personalities and there is no place of any fictional details in such kinds of writings. Also, in the field of writing one does not become famous because of the quantity of works but for its quality. On this occasion, the students- Sukhman Singh, Jaismeen,Sachin Sharma, Simran Bawa and Bhavini asked multiple questions and satisfied their curiosities .

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed her heartfelt pleasure to Mr. Ray for being in the college and interacting with the students.  She added when students interact with the experts, they channelize they energy in the right direction and establish themselves successfully in their careers. Also, ACFA always ensure that it’s student are provided with the opportunities to explore and are not just limited to the theoretical texts in the classrooms.
