ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ 5 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ‘ਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੁਤਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਜ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮੀ ਭਾਭਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਬੀ.ਐੱਲ. ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 660 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। 300 ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ 5 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ‘ਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੁਤਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਜ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮੀ ਭਾਭਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਬੀ.ਐੱਲ. ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਥੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਫੋਟੋ ਲਈ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬਿੰਬ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਘੁਲਾਟੀਆਂ, ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਘਰ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਸੀਐਮ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ 5 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮੀ ‘ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਸੀਐਮ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਸਾਇਣਕ ਖਾਦਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਫੈਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਡਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਮਹਿੰਗਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਹਨ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ। ਅਸੀਂ ਬੀਐਸਐਫ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੁਤਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਉਠਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਨ, ਪੂਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਹੁਣਚਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
