Students of Innokids had a lot of fun in the activities of Cherishing Monsoon

Innokids of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, CanttJandiala Road, Nurpur Road and Kapurthala Road) had a lot of fun with the little ones participating in the activities of Cherishing Monsoon. These activities were organized throughout the week. Children also brought their raincoats and colorful umbrellas from their homes and they enjoyed the rain to the fullest. During an activity, children came dressed as water drop, rainbow, cloud, flower etc. In the classes, the teachers explained the importance of Shravan month to the children and gave detailed information about the items to be eaten in this season like Malpua, Kheer, Ghevar, Pakoras etc.
The children were also explained that along with having fun in the rainy season, they should also take care of their health because the stagnant water from the rain spreads many diseases. Apart from this, children should also take special care of their food, they should not eat outside food.
On this occasion, Mrs. SharmilaNakra, Deputy Director Cultural Affairs, Innocent Hearts Group, said that the purpose of conducting such activities in the school is that during the rainy season, children should take care of their health along with having fun. They should avoid consuming junk food.
