ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਰੂਸ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ‘ਚ ਤੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ 140 ਬੈਰਲ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਡਾਲਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਭਾਰਤ ‘ਚ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ 100 ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ‘ਚ ਕੱਚੇ ਤੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਬੋਝ ਪੈਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਚ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਵਿਡ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ‘ਚ ਕੱਚੇ ਤੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ। ਤੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐਕਸਾਈਜ਼ ‘ਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਐਕਸਾਈਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
