ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਾਰੰਗਲ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਐੱਫਆਈਆਰਜ਼ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫਰਮਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਨਗਰ ‘ਚ ਮੈਸਰਜ਼ ਮਿਡਵੈਸਟ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸਲਟੈਂਟ, ਛੋਟੀ ਬਾਰਾਦਰੀ-2 ‘ਚ ਮੈਸਰਜ਼ ਆਈਕਿਊ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼, ਅਰਬਨ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਫੇਜ਼-1 ‘ਚ ਮੈਸਰਜ਼ ਆਰਡੀਐੱਸਆਈ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਐੱਲਐੱਲਪੀ ਤੇ ਮੁਹੱਲਾ ਕਾਜ਼ੀਆਂ, ਫਿਲੌਰ ‘ਚ ਮੈਸਰਜ਼ ਹਾਈ ਸਪਿਰਿਟਸ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਸਾਰੰਗਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸਲਟੈਂਟਾਂ/ਫਰਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਅਮਲ ‘ਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਫਰਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਫਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪੁੱਜਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ‘ਚ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਫਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐੱਸਡੀਐੱਮਜ਼ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ‘ਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਇਮੀਗੇ੍ਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸਲਟੈਂਟਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ।
